Head of Sales & International Business Development

About the rule:

As our Head of Sales you will create demand for our technology services and play a key role in executing the sales strategy to achieve our revenue targets. You will manage the sales team and sales process, as well as prospect, qualify, negotiate, and close deals through value-drives selling, and nurture long-term relationships with our clients. This role will require close collaboration with other internal departments such as Inside Sales, Engineering, Operations, and Customer Success. 

Job Description:

As our Head of Sales you will create demand for our technology services and play a key role in executing the sales strategy to achieve our revenue targets. You will manage the sales team and sales process, as well as prospect, qualify, negotiate, and close deals through value-drives selling, and nurture long-term relationships with our clients. This role will require close collaboration with other internal departments such as Inside Sales, Engineering, Operations, and Customer Success. 

Value-Based Sales:

●  Develop a sustained pipeline of accounts by actively prospecting via cold-calls, marketing lead follow-up, personal relationships, executive introductions, and email marketing automation, to independently close contracts at a close frequency & value to meet quota expectations.

●  Develop, write, and deliver value-based sales proposals and respond to client requests or RFPs.

●  Design, develop, enhance, debug, and implement interactive web applications

●  Support with business development at key industry events, conferences & expos internationally.

●  Identify and close quick, small wins while managing longer, complex sales cycles.

●  Craft a phenomenal first impression to our prospects by providing them with a best-in-class experience and “wow” encounter with exceptional customer service.

Sales Managment:

●  Manage and coach the sales & biz dev team on achieving their KPI targets.

●  Maintain daily activities in CRM by tracking all calls, emails, and interactions with prospects.

●  Closely collaborate with Engineering & HR teams to ensure timely delivery of services.

●  Closely collaborate with Operations & Finance teams to ensure proper after sales processes.

Sales Development & Prospecting:

●  Execute outbound lead qualification & prospecting campaigns (email / phone / direct mail).

●  Use LinkedIn and other sales enablement/prospecting tools to research accounts, identify key contacts, develop accounts and craft targeted messaging.

●  Conduct outbound calls to prospect, educate, qualify, and develop target accounts.

●  Present value proposition of our products and services to key prospects and qualified leads.

●  Follow up on marketing qualified leads (from conferences, webinars, website), identify prospects and respond to interested organizations.

●  Conduct discovery calls with decision makers to understand their needs.

●  Execute established daily cadence of prospecting and conversations to create new sales qualified opportunities..

●  Managing end of funnel pipeline progression, optimising for sales velocity and close rate.

●  Develop business with high-value accounts to accelerate revenue growth, driving up-selling and cross-selling efforts.

●  Achieve your goal for opportunities, sales quota and win rates on a monthly & quarterly basis.

Requirements:

●  At least 7 years of professional selling experience in technology sales..

●  Working experience with inside sales, lead generation, closing deals, sales cycle management.

●  Successful experience at new account development and account management.

●  Experience in a value-based sales methodology (Solution Selling, Customer Centric Selling)

●  Self-driven, motivated, results driven with entrepreneurial mind-set

●  Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills in English.

●  Superior relationship building and collaborative capabilities. 

●  Excellent organization, time management & prioritization skills. 

●  High levels of accuracy and attention to detail are essential..

●  Ability to work with minimal guidance and demonstrate self-starter qualities.

The full-time position will be based in Lahore at our company office, in a fast-paced, creative, young and collaborative startup environment. Occasional business travel to the Middle East and USA may be expected.
